Emergency Department is all about urgency. Patients are seen in order of the seriousness of the medical problems. Critically ill patients are always seen before patients with less serious problems.

The Emergency and Trauma team has a specially designed to handle all sorts of patients. The Emergency is headed by an E/R Specialist /Chief Medical officer and his team comprising of Medical officers, Nurses, paramedical support staff. All members of the team are well verse with ‘TRIAGE’ and other Ready Reckners developed as per guidelines of MSDS.

Emergency & Trauma Section is located on the Ground Floor. The Emergency Department has 19 beds including 2 beds resuscitation area, and 10 beds acute observation unit (ICU/CCU). This first class facility consolidates all treatment areas into one main area, improving visibility and monitoring of patients.

The Emergency Department reduces waiting times, enabling rapid assessment, investigation, and treatment of lower acuity patients.

The Emergency Medicine Unit provides ongoing management and care for patients requiring assessment, short stay admission and discharge from the Emergency Department.
